Encourage and Recognize Certification
ABPANC offers a number of opportunities for nurse managers and other nurse leaders to promote and recognize certified perianethesia nurses. Certification improves the quality of the nursing experience. Encouraging and recognizing certification in your organization increases RN satisfaction, which leads to improved retention rates and decreased turnover. Certified nurses are more satisfied with their jobs, and the higher the engagement level, the better an organization performs.
