Your Roadmap to Perianesthesia Certification
Ready to start your journey toward CPAN® or CAPA® certification? Our easy-to-follow roadmap guides you through every step:
- Create Your Profile: Start in Learning Builder at cpancapa.org.
- Check Your Eligibility: Make sure you’re a current, unrestricted RN with at least 1,200 hours of clinical experience.
- Complete Your Application: Don’t forget to include verifiers for your hours worked.
- Submit and Pay: Submit your application and pay the exam fee.
- Schedule Your Exam: Choose a date at a testing center or opt for live remote proctoring.
- Prepare to Succeed: Give yourself ample time to study using ABPANC’s helpful exam preparation materials.
- Take the Exam: Testing windows are open March 15–May 15 and September 15–November 15.
