ABPANC Welcomes New CEO

ABPANC Board of Directors President Katherine Houle, RN, MSN, CPAN announced that Sarah Terrell Royster, MBA, CAE, has joined ABPANC as the Chief Executive Officer, effective January 16, 2024.

Royster has an impressive background in governance and administrative operations, demonstrating a keen understanding of the complexities of association management. With a proven track record of success, she demonstrates exceptional skills and abilities in driving membership growth and engagement, strategic planning, and board relations. Royster joins ABPANC from the North Carolina Nurses Association, where she was most recently the Director of Operations and Member Engagement.

Royster earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Meredith College in 2018 and holds the Certified Association Executive credential, awarded by the ASAE CAE Commission. She has been an active member of the Association Executives of North Carolina and volunteers at Meredith College where she currently serves on the Meredith Fund Advisory Board.

A lifelong North Carolinian, Royster currently resides in Wake Forest with her husband, Aaron, and two young daughters.
