Flashcard Overview
Developed by CPAN and CAPA certified nurses, ABPANC is pleased to offer a set of flashcards designed for nurses studying for either the CPAN or CAPA exam.
These digital cards include more than 250 key perianesthesia nursing definitions and concepts designed according to ABPANC’s Test Blueprint. Each card includes reference citations from ABPANC’s study library to help you dive deeper into the topic.
The cards are hosted by Brainscape, a leader in online learning. The interactive format works on a PC, tablet, or mobile phone so you can study where and when it works for you.
As you review each card, you will rank your confidence on that topic on a scale of 1 to 5. Brainscape’s technology reshuffles the deck and prioritizes the cards you flag for additional review creating a customized study experience based on your strengths and learning needs
Pricing
ABPANC’s flashcards are $55 for a one-year license. The license begins on the date you activate your Brainscape Pro account and includes access to both the desktop and mobile versions of the flashcards.
After purchasing the cards in ABPANC’s online store, you will receive an email containing your unique license key to activate your Brainscape Pro account. This code is unique to your account; do not share it.
Refund Policy
ABPANC study tools are non-refundable.
Exception: If a candidate purchases a study tool for the incorrect examination (for example, the candidate intends to purchase a CAPA tool but mistakenly purchases a CPAN tool), the candidate must notify ABPANC at abpanc@cpancapa.org within 48 hours of the original purchase date. The candidate must then purchase the tool for the correct exam, and ABPANC will refund the original purchase.

They are not intended to serve as a study guide, nor should they be used as a substitute for studying. While content may be representative of the type of knowledge and skills tested on the CPAN and CAPA certification examinations, this material is not identical to the content of the examinations.
Completion of flashcard review does not in any way guarantee a passing score on any ABPANC certification examination. Use of ABPANC’s flashcards is not a requirement for eligibility or for success in passing any ABPANC certification examination.
The CPAN and CAPA flashcards are for individual use only and may not be reproduced or shared with others without the express permission of ABPANC.
Helpful Tip:
Keep a copy of ABPANC’s Study References List with you as you complete the flashcards. Make notes about which references or page numbers are cited for topics you want to review further.
