Facing Retirement or Unable to Renew Your CPAN or CAPA Credential?

A “Why Not Recertify” survey is sent to individuals at the end of each recertification cycle who have not submitted a recertification application. Beginning with the November 2001 recertification period, anyone who has chosen not to recertify their certification status and who returns the “Why Not Recertify” survey to ABPANC is able to request a special certificate, suitable for framing, which recognizes one's years as an actively certified perianesthesia nurse.
