Become a Certification Champion –
You CAN Make a Difference
Once a year a day occurs that is known as “Make A Difference Day.” During this day, Americans across the nation take time to make a difference in the lives of people, known and unknown to them. Acts of kindness are shared with one another and a feeling of accomplishment comes from within oneself. An opportunity to make a difference in the life of a perianesthesia nurse and experience that same feeling of accomplishment is now available by volunteering to become a Certification Champion for ABPANC. This volunteer position is being created to encourage, support and champion CPAN and CAPA Certification at the grass roots level! These efforts will ensure that ABPANC’s vision becomes a reality –
Recognizing and respecting the unequaled excellence in the mark of the CPAN and CAPA credential, perianesthesia nurses will seek it, managers will require it, employers will support it and the public will demand it.
In essence Certification Champions will assist ABPANC in promoting CPAN and CAPA certification and recertification. ABPANC is seeking volunteers to serve as Certification Champions throughout the United States. Our goal is to have at least one Champion in every state.
