The latest edition of the ASPAN Standards — Perianesthesia Nursing Standards, Practice Recommendations, and Interpretive Statements 2012-2014 (as listed in Appendix D – Study References, found in the Certification Candidate Handbook and on the ABPANC website) will apply to CPAN and CAPA examinations administered beginning with the Spring 2013 administration.
