Exam Dates and Locations The CPAN® and CAPA® exams are given twice a year, at many sites around the
country, on the first Saturday in November, and on the Sunday preceding
the opening of ASPAN's national conference. CPAN® and CAPA® Examination Application Postmark Deadlines
* Must be accompanied by a $50.00 late penalty fee. ** No test site transfers will be permitted after this deadline. If
a postmark deadline falls on a federally recognized holiday and the United
States Postal Service is closed, the postmark deadline will automatically

Special Test Site Policy: You may also elect to register at a special test site that has been established for the upcoming administration. See below. If you are already registered for an existing site as noted above, and you wish to transfer to a newly established special test site, such requests must be made by the deadline as noted above. Special test sites may be canceled if less than 10 candidates have registered for the site and remaining candidates have chosen not to pay the $500 fee for a special test site with less than the required minimum of 10 candidates.
